After months of building and a busy spring of onboarding, the PCRA member portal is now live — the working home for our network of research-ready GP practices, and the fastest way for sponsors to find them.
For practices
Every member practice now has its own portal login and a practice profile — the page sponsors see when they are choosing sites. Your profile carries the things that win studies: your patient population, your team, your facilities and equipment, your research experience, and photographs of your practice. You control what it says, and you can update it whenever you like.
When a sponsor brings us a study that fits you, the invitation lands in your portal inbox and your email at the same time. Reading the brief and responding takes a couple of clicks — and where a study involves confidential documents, they are held securely behind a confidentiality agreement you accept once, on screen.
For sponsors
The portal is the front door to nearly 180 research-ready practices, community trusts and hospices covering well over eight million patients. Browse live practice profiles, share an opportunity with the sites we match for you, and read their responses in one place — who is interested, what their patient numbers look like, and who to shortlist. Confidential protocols stay protected, and nothing about a practice reaches you that the practice has not chosen to publish.
Getting on
Member practices receive their personal invitation by email — if yours has not arrived or has expired, contact us and we will send a fresh one. Sponsors who would like a walk-through of the portal, or to bring us a study, can reach us the usual way.
